The Cycle Series derived from an interest to convey a stronger sense of motion and energy in my abstract work. For me, the spiral and circular shapes also serve as  familiar symbols to life’s natural order for process, flux and transformation. Nature’s continual physical stages, those expected as well as those that are accidental, often echo the creative process and inspire my own methods for work and influence my imagery.
